Street party is at first the festival of resist. Returning the streets back
to people means also a possibility of direct presentation of facts and
thoughts convicting this social hierarchy of untenability if its development.
But not to make a Streetparty just of empty sitting on the square or boring
and targetless march, it's needed to be joined actively also by you.
Every parttaker is responsible of Streetparty's progress. So what exactly
can you do?
DO YOU THINK ...
..,that you have something to say about those themes (or at all)?
Make your own info-box. Take some leaflets, magazines, posters, photos;
discuss, distribute, propagate.
Paint a transparent. Visible, attractive, inspiring, making some attention.
To attend also those, who don't want actually.
Do yourself a symbolical mask, respectively create some theatrical scene.
And on direct acting show the real scope of a problem.
Write a speech and get in touch with organizers about reading it.
Change your environment. All around you can see lots of pro-voting billboards,
or brain-dead advertisments, finish them on your own imagination.
..., that you can supply a program artisticly?
It can be began by appearence. Good costume or mask raises mood of you and also of others.
Few pieces of textiles, paper face-mask and few props - work fo half an hour.
Make a mini-exhibition of art (or sculpture) works. Piece of rope or tape must be enough.
Or just take some chalks or fixes. And give a bit more "human" face to roads, walls or pillars.
Any coordinated sound gives a power to the protest. So whistles, rattles, any drumming
instruments (pots, mugs, pieces of tin, ...) ...
..., or prepare yourself before. Group drumming can fully take place of the soundsystem, just
not talking about such instruments like guittar, violin, flute or sax with a bit of singing
talent.
And what about juggling, fireshow, stilts, magician tricks, ...
If you haven't found yourself in any of above, you can at least dance insted of sitting.
...,that exercise and sports doesn't fit Streetparty?
Motion activities are still squeezed out by building more roads. But that's
not a reason, why not to play on Streetparty ...
...som badminton, frisbee, football, volleyball,… Just having a few rackets, frisbee,
ball, or (why not) a net and asphalt roads are yours.
Or just show your eqilibristicity with football/basketball, gymnastic
tools (cones, skipping-rope, ribbons, hoops…)
Automobile is not a most effective vehicle. So don't forget your bicycle,
skates, skateboard, or anything else.
..., that Streetparty is not for everyone?
Definitely take children, parents, grandparents or friends of any age,
animals briefly everyone who is our Earth made for.
SO DON'T HESITATE AND JOIN IN!!!
